I was brought on to be the Media Director for Lady Shuckers here in Portland, Maine! Their brand, personality and mission were already so strong but the assets needed some professional love.

A bit about the project…

Lady Shuckers underwent a recent rebrand but have’t had the time to implement it. I revamped the website with their fonts and worked on the brand color usage.

For the Work: Photography, Videography, Flyers, Eventbrite, Email Newsletters, Brand Strategy and even some… SHUCKIN’.

A brand that needs little introduction! Lady Shuckers is fun, light-hearted and playful. In support of women led sea farms in Maine and queer owned. Led by the one and only Libby Davis!

Libby is a good friend of mine and this project really flowed. I had a blast diving into the site and cleaning up what was previously there. The language needed some love. I wrote the headline “shuckin’ in a state near you” as she has been expanding to MA and NY.

I also changed the previous headline from “Your Premium Raw Bar & Event Company” and simplified to match her light tone a bit more.

The website now clearly directs to our events that are live, booking for events, the Snack Shack info and our newsletter.
